Dog Ear Cemetery (also known as Black Dirt Cemetery) is located on private property and there is no public access road to. The cemetery is on about an acre of land on the edge of Dog Ear Lake in Marion County. Many graves are now unmarked and are over 100 years old. Family members may gain access by contacting the landowner.
