HISTORICAL SITE
CEMETERY OF CHRIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH
Donated to Collier County March 15, 1983 by the Council of the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida. Christ Church founded as an Indian Mission by the Rt. Rev. William Crane Gray who gave the name, Immokalee, to the area. Dedicated July 5, 1896 by Bishop Gray. Christ Church damaged by hurricane in 1910, restored and continued to be used until destroyed by a hurricane in September of 1926.
