Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021, Wild Cow Prairie Cemetery is a small county-owned rural cemetery located near Bushnell in Sumter County, Florida. The fenced portion of the cemetery contains a total of 45 burials, dating from between 1849 and 1925. Historically this cemetery functioned as the community burial ground for the busy town of Pemberton Ferry Florida, which was an important early transportation hub for the area dating back into the 1840s. Wild Cow Prairie Cemetery, Sumter County's second oldest pioneer burial ground. Cemetery is well maintained, and has had a GPR completed on site.
